Aged Care

The staff at Purple Blossom Care is committed to providing quality service.  Our highly qualified, attentive and reliable staff endeavours to make a connection with each and every client and will encourage our clients to achieve their goals and live independently with integrity, choice and dignity.  Providing an extensive range of services to meet the needs of our clients is imperative to all individuals involved.

At some point in our lives, we all need someone to hold our hand or share our story with.  Do you have a favourite author?  One of our friendly support worker can read to you from your favourite book. You can share and teach us your favourite card game or together we can create a magical meal.   Share your life story with us and we can create a book of memories.

  • Reading
  • Board and card games
  • Walks
  • Sharing personal stories to be documented
  • Coffee Dates
  • Meal preparation

If you care for a family member, you also need time to take care of yourself.  We can support you by taking care of your loved one while you recharge your batteries.   Together we will create a plan where you can feel comfortable leaving your loved one with one of our friendly and professional support worker.

Our carers will take care of you or your loved one by assisting with personal hygiene, dressing and assistance with medication.  Treating our clients with dignity and respect during this personal process is of utmost importance.

We can all use a little help around the house.  While you relax, let our team assist with light house work including:

  • Dusting and vacuuming
  • Mopping
  • Kitchen and bathroom
  • Changing sheets and making beds
  • Washing and ironing

Not a day goes by where we are not busy ticking off our to-do list.  Let us help and accompany you to your hair or nail appointment.  We can attend doctor’s appointments and offer support.   We can take you to the chemist or the dry cleaners.  Where ever you need to go, we can take you there.

  • Hair and nail appointments
  • Medical appointments
  • Running errands

Getting out and about is key to emotional health.   We can support you by organising an event whether it is coffee with friends, lawn bowling, a day at a museum or a night at the theatre.  If you would like company, one of our staff would be happy to accompany you.

Coming home from the hospital can be challenging and it is important to give yourself permission to rest and replenish your spirit. We provide short-term specialised care and support to help you regain your independence. Transitional care can be tailored to suit your specific needs including personal care, domestic assistance, travel, meal preparation and cooking or companionship.

If you could go anywhere you wanted, where would it be?  Everyone deserves a holiday whether it’s to rest and recuperate, discover a new destination, or visit a favourite old haunt.  Let us help you build your own adventure or become a tourist in your own ‘backyard.’  We can plan and organise your dream holiday and if you need a support worker, one can be provided.  What is on your bucket list?

  • A day at the beach
  • An overnight at the Crown
  • A weekend in the wine country
  • A cruise to New Zealand
  • A train trip through the Red Centre
  • Choose your own adventure
